Alba Cottage is a charming home just moments from the famous Harbour Street with its unique independent shops, restaurants and galleries, and a short stroll from the harbour and beach. The cottage is decorated with stylish furnishings and neutral tones throughout, providing a light and homely feel. The patio garden has an outside seating area for sunny days and in colder months there’s a log burning stove to cosy up around.

Please note - Maximum 4 adults, top bunk not suitable for an adult.

Ground Floor:
Entrance door opens into living room, with two sofas and smart TV.
A doorway leads to a further snug area with sofa, chair and log burning stove.
Leading through to the kitchen-diner with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, gas hob and electric oven. You'll have everything needed to cook up a feast or enjoy a takeaway in the dining space.
The patio garden is accessed from the kitchen, and includes patio furniture.

First Floor:
Stairs accessed from the snug area.
Landing leading to:
Bedroom 1 has a king size bed, hanging space, chest of drawers and bedside tables.
Bedroom 2 has a single bed plus bunk beds and a chest of drawers.
Bathroom comprising roll top bath with shower overhead, vanity unit and WC.
Cotton linens/towels and soap and cleaning products are provided for use during your stay.

We want you to enjoy your stay as much as possible whilst following our few house rules:
  • Check in is after 3.00pm.
  • Check out is before 10.00am.
  • Smoking in or near the property is not permitted.
  • Parties and events are not permitted.
  • Animals are not accepted at this property.
  • We respect our neighbours, and ask you to ensure that noise is kept to a reasonable level, particularly after 10.00pm.
  • The property should be left in the same condition it was found - clean, tidy, dishes washed/dishwasher running, etc.

Getting around

There's a lot to see within walking distance, so if you decide to stay without a car you'll have plenty to do. If you drive, please note that unrestricted free parking can be found on Albert Street and the surrounding streets, subject to spaces available on the day. As the property is in the heart of the town, parking can be busy, particularly at the weekends and in the summer months. There are also a number of pay and display car parks in the town. The buses to Canterbury and beyond run along the main road, so you're moments from where they stop. The train station is ten minutes walk away. High speed trains from Whitstable run straight to St Pancras in just over an hour and round to Dover and Margate in less.
